The hollow-space structures in vehicle bodies are efficient designs that offer high rigidity and contribute to crash safety, but they are particularly susceptible to corrosion because moisture can penetrate them and has difficulty escaping. Without appropriate protective measures, corrosion often goes undetected for a long time.
Moisture and condensation accumulate in hard-to-reach areas. At the same time, applying a uniform coating to these areas is technically challenging, as they are often not directly accessible.

Wax-based, flowable corrosion protection systems are used. These systems spread even in complex geometries and reliably reach areas that are difficult to access.
